Vow of Devotion - Kenna

This vow of devotion was declared in the presence of witnesses during a reaffirmation of baptism at Spirit Garage church in Minneapolis on September 9, 2012. It is both an acknowledgement and acceptance of what one has been called by the Lord to do in this lifetime and others.  

I stood before you and my heart was opened. From the moment I was brought into this world I was made for you. My call is heard. In graciousness, not belligerence, your word is spoken.

Love fills me and I offer it to the world. In your light and love, the truth prevails. In gentleness, peacefulness, lovingness, patience, and kindness I will share what you have done for all. I will shine your light, for it is by your grace I am saved.

I am compelled to carry out the task appointed to me. Please guide me so I may fulfill your role... and help me support your devoted and keep to the light alongside them.

I am before you now, for you have given everything.

I align my will with yours and offer you my life.

Alleluia and glory to you O God who is truly the highest.
